Preliminary Design Approximations for Segmental Bridges
Abstract:
This presentation will discuss preliminary design approximations for concrete segmental bridges and will cover material in the first two ASPIRE articles on this topic. Specifically, it will discuss superstructure depths, intrados profiles and cross-section dimensions. It will also touch on constructability and aesthetics.
Two additional ASPIRE articles will be published later this year with follow-on topics on preliminary design approximations for segmental bridges.
